Ever since I was a boy I’ve spent my summers in Algonquin Provincial Park. Some of my happiest memories are there. And many of my favourite scenes. Here’s a collection of some of them.
It can be challenging to see animals in captivity and not pity them. In many cases these animals would be better off in their natural, wild habitat. But in many cases these animals would not have survived in the wild, were in danger from poachers or discarded by owners. And their beauty, though perhaps with a note of sadness, is still mesmerizing and enlightening. Here are a collection of images I’ve taken of animals in captivity.
